Transformer protection role installed:

(1) the defense transformer Tieke internal short circuit and the oil surface to reduce the gas protection.

(2) the defense transformer coil and the pinout of the short circuit between phases, the large ground current grid side of the coil leads to the side of the ground short-circuit and short circuit between the coil turns longitudinal differential protection or trip current protection.

(3) the defense transformer external short circuit between phases and for gas protection and longitudinal differential protection back-up overcurrent protection (or composite voltage start-up overcurrent protection, or negative-sequence current protection).

(4) external ground short circuit in the defense ground current grid zero sequence current protection.

(5) defense symmetric overload overload protection.

The transformer is a use of the electromagnetic mutual induction voltage, current and impedance transformation devices. The transformer protection installed well inside the transformer line to play a protective role in ensuring the normal operation of the transformer.
